get things done! things to do! things to buy!

Past- things i did:

Finally all my private ruan students passed their grading exams(华乐考级), although some still not up to my expectation, i glad to see their improvement. At least i did my best for every lesson. I am learning how to teach while teaching them, actually i beneficts too. Congrats to them
SYCO audition was a swift one, less than a min i think. One excerpt from 赵季平 song. Then i stood at SCH concourse to enjoy the large LCD screen showing SCO beijing concert.
I went heatwave for a haircut. (recommended by shudup) Not bad....
Rearranging my clothes and shelves to open up more spaces for my uni stuff.

Near Future- things to do:

Going IKEA to buy a bigger bookshelves for poly and uni books and projects.
Should start preparing for grading and learn new songs-剑器，望秦川，山涧，满江红.
Got the new timetable, so must start planning for jobs and commitment
Continue my retail therapy but bare in mind of budget
Attending wenwen's birthday
Attending Yan shi's wedding
Watching golden compass with Secondary School friends
Continue teaching, teaching and teaching

Kbox with ntu

After a tiring work monday, i drag myself to cineleisure to meet my NTU groupmates for Kboxing as promise...woo...it had been a while since i sang due to exam. The room faces the cityview of orchard road-damed nice view....We sang till 10pm.(exactly) the service was as usual lousy, i ordered my drink which took million years to come and it finally appear after much requests at 10min before 10pm. The in-charged asked us to leave at exactly 10-maybe pissed off because of my pestering for my drink.( but i pay for it what!) Lousy service recovery! Or actually No service recovery at all! How can i kboxing without a drink! However, we did enjoy ourselves with many jay's and jolin's songs.

Today, teaches from 10 to 10. Super tired...teaching is never relaxing! Too lazy to exercise...go for a run to burn up fats. Ok shall go for 20 laps tomo and suntan.

i love donuts

We went swimming at geylang east pool, but when i rained cats and dogs, we headed to pig organs soup (shudup ate waffles) then to velocity. After some stupid incidents and shudup cannot use her vouchers, we went to donut factory to eat donut and actually to study her driving advance theory. However, we eat delicious donuts, drink and chat....little of studying was done. The donuts are really GOOD, even the plain glazed one taste wonderful. Then we shop around for goggles as both mine and shudup goggles were spoiled. We search quite a while for ARENA goggles and we finally found it in a sunseeker shop opposite Celio.

Ob girls always try to take cab when possible- saying no direct bus home from velocity as an excuse but i felt tired after 18 laps in the pool this afternnon too( wish to get home faster), so we aboarded a cab....the journey was like 烈火战车, the driver sped, horned more than 6 times, overtook when possible, plus super unethical and unpolite on road till shudup had to alight earlier before reaching her place. ( too scary for her)....but we all managed to reach home safely. (thanks god) kuku accidentally stucked hp in the cab's cushion seats, luckily the driver was on phone and parked his cab at the roadside, so i rushed down to the cab to search, cant see anything coz it was stucked between the seat cushions...found it after i make a few calls, then trace the sound to find it...a lucky day for kuku....

exciting day

After 2 weeks of studying and studying, a lot to catch-up has to be done like work, shopping and friends. After teaching greenridge primary in the morning, yan, xiaoka, surin and me went chinatown to buy liuyang's birthday present (antique phone) then to ARAB street to get box and wrapping paper for the present. Due to lack of sleep the previous night (slept at 4am, wake up at 7.30am), i headed home to sleep. Tired but still miss ob, i went out to meet kuku to shop and cut hair. I cant do my shopping as i happily(accidentally) dropped my Braul buffel wallet in yan's car.

After shopping, we went to a newly opened "记得吃" at Tan Queen Lan street to have desserts while waiting for shudup. The yam paste is super nice and steam milk taste good too, and we saw Geo and her bf-jiaming again. Shudup arrives later to help us with the bill, then we went to chill at a bar further down the road- "Shanghai Jazz", not bad....we drink more than usual as the beer is 'one for one' but the service staff nv inform us earlier so we ordered one each...ending up with six pints...but shudup never finish as hers was a big one. exam over!!!!

yeah finally exam over! but stats was a killer- waiting for moderation. But marketing was fun as quite a number of service industry related questions are asked. Like starting a culinary school, POSB Bank and how to set roomrate of hotel? Luckily i brought my TP HTM marketing notes, it helps a lot as the questions are HT related. I also suddenly realise that both text is from Philip Kotler- the marketing Guru.

Me, cuimin and ziqian went Raffles City Sushi tei to have a wonderful dinner and then went for window shopping at Marina Square. Retail Therapy really helps a lot to relieve stress after studying for 2 weeks.

Things to do after exam:

prepare my students for grading

clean up my room and buy a shelve for books and notes

retail therapy- grey jean, acsic shoes, polo explorer, havianas slipper, formal black shoes

plan for 08 activities

prepare for my dilpoma songs

schedule my time table, settle minor and electives

SY audition

catch up movies and Heroes

attend wedding and birthday

seems like tonnes of things to do too. but life feels occupied!

addicted to heroes

Went to Nancy birthday party at ARANDA yesterday despite econ paper on monday. No choice promise my presence le, but i went with my book though nv read much but at least not so guilty about it. Nv eat much as bbq food too oily for me. i saw my old friends like zhe en, caiying, etc the ngee ann people that seldom see because they are nancy friends( mj kaki). Kind of nice to see them again. Ya i bought a pillow for her with chin at TM. Super long time nv play mahjong and hands are really getting itchy....should play overnight after my exams!!!

ya. feel guilty....although is exam period but i am addicted to the serial- HEROES. Kao watch finished the first season and now catching the second...feel bad but still continue...haha. hope wouldnt affect my grades ba....study smart right! okok. Focus

Ob paper down, 3 more to go... econ, stats and marketing. All very tough papers...trying to relax and absorb the concepts by swimming, running and watching tv serial-HERO.

家家有本难念的经

My parents quarrelled again and is a serious one i think coz dad left the house. Think this year it was the 3rd time and the severity getting worst. It is also the accumulation of a lot of emotions and conflicts between both of them. Both of them were at fault but dad's attitude and behaviour is getting worst-slamming the doors and shouting at mum."divorce" becomes a common word during their quarrel.

I did not comment anything as i need to spend time for my upcoming exams. Just hope everything will be fine as they cool down. However, if dad still remains that attitude, more quarrels will be lining up in the future. Changing a person's attitude and personality is very tough unless he learnt himself- like in SAW4 ( jigsaw: "u can only save urself!") Hiaz. What to do? Saying that i didnt address him and show him respect...but i always think respect is earned and mutual and not forced. Mum although a bit naggy at times but she showed financial and emotional support to us- like attend my concert. ( me and my elder bro-xian who were both in university have not been taking any $ from home as we do is quite a burden for them to support 2 uni undergrad) Xian has chosen to stay in hall so that to concentrate in his study for his last 2 years. I would want to but leaving my mum alone at home and i feel very bad & i need to teach ruan to earn my pocket money...

Divorcing was not my idea but if life was really getting to that stage where no solutions can resolve the problem...then that might be a better alternative.And Why money is always the start of the sparks of conflict? Pray for the best and respect for him plunged down another level. always hope that he wasnt like that and whole family can live together happily!

SAW 4

I went Orchard Cine Cathay to watch SAW 4 with jonathon, offically step into cinema theatre for R21 show. Previously GV disallowed jonathon in because of 3days different from his Birth Date when watching SAW 3.

It is as gruesome as before. Sawing here and there. But understand why jigsaw want to make otherhs appreciate their life. Those who dun appreciate dun deserve to live. The director try to link with the rest of the SAW movies but seems awkward in the connections. But stilll remains the same style as before.

I like the idea that "only those want want to help themselves can help themselves!" Some people refused to be HELPED. Some just stuck in the Evil cycle due to escaping of punish, thus jigsaw want to punish them and make them appreciate lifes' meaning....

exams-exams!

2 weeks of stress( study week) really feel tired and the lack of time. Partly due to my course work grades wasnt good enough, exam stress set in. thus have to work much harder in exam to gain a few more points. mugging ob and econs as they are the first 2 papers... tough, alot of reading and understand but a little time for preparing and answering during exam.

i went a few places to study like mac and starbucks, spending tonnes of money on coffee and oreo cheesecakes. I like to study in crowded area- i also dun know why? the feeling of being surrounded??? i studied at marina square frequently but must resist the temptation to shop as year end sales season is around the corner and most of my favourite shops are there. haha despite that i spent on ts in topman at marina square....succumb to shopping! maybe stress reliever!

2 more weeks to go...and I can end the suffering!!!

Nights in Carribean- celebrating birthday

Supernice condo with a super big pool, facing the south sea of singapore. Very nice scenaries and the rooms are big. All thanks to Shudup 4 days comp stay there, although i managed to be there at night after my gig at temple, the view is fantastic enough. can go blahdee blog for interior pic.

Woo this game is exciting, every small little cup contain different mix, keat or weird mixture like soya sauce with orange juice. Then we play poker, loser will throw the metal ball and see where it landed, and then have to drink the number indicated. Poor ellow kena all the weird drinks-maybe is birthday luck. Some is volka and gin mixture- too strong for us, thus need to mix sprite etc. But everyone do have fun and enjoyed the game...especially me-mixing those weird drinks for them.

NTU groupmates

My groupmates at Raffles Place doing interview for our project. Had a lot troubles interviewing the Raffles Place passerby coz they seems so busy and have no time for us. At last still have some good souls who willing to accept the video interview. Finally, project finished le.
