Huilin and XiutingI had a tiring and quite memorable sunday with the Alumni co members in SCH. I graduated from Ngee Ann in 2001 which is 7 years ago, and 2nd time performing as a alumni but this time is conducting. Yih Jun, Joel and Julian initated the programme and ask me to help to conduct. This is my first time conducting in SCH and the movie medley is a rather challenging piece to conduct ( with a lot of changes in beats from 6/8 to 3/4 to 4/4) plus the lack of practices with the members but eventually it went smoothly although with some hipups here and there. I was very stressed and blackout a few times...but no choice i have to keep counting the beats as the members are following my strokes. Glad that it is over and i can rest....conducting is really not easy... I heard that the principal is giving alumni co a room when the new block is done. WOW quite surprise with that ...i believe it should be a good start.

back to reality
Back to Singapore, but i still in the holiday mood as NTU starts school in 4th August. I love taiwan and hope i can go taipei to shop again in the future. I wish the Taiwan trip can be longer!!!! No choice, there is an end to everything. At this moment, i can continue with my job, practising my ruan for year end grading.
I meet up meihui and ziqian at Tampines Mall to plan our timetable for next semester hoping that we will stay in the same class despite our different specialisation.
Meaning of life- "stay happy and healthy, love and be loved by everyone around you..."

到高雄时，检查乐器竟然发现三台琴的头断了，我便要求国泰航空的负责人来解决。可是他们一口否定是他们疏忽。是我们没照顾好！！还有要看到表面上的损坏才能赔偿，可是如果真的发生表面上的损坏琴完全不能用了。 真气人！
吃完晚餐后，我们冒着大大雨走了几条街去唱k。

17日6月2008年 （高雄市区前往垦丁-鹅卵鼻，风吹砂）
这是菱角， 我第一次吃。。。满好吃的， 可是看起来有一点恐怖-黑黑的，很像蝙蝠。
路过芒果摊， 便下去尝一尝。还好，不是导游说的那么甜。没有想像中的甜。
垦丁的大太阳把我们都烤焦了，走了很久最终到了鹅卵鼻灯塔。
世界唯一有军队保护的灯塔。灯光照耀着太平洋的船只。

演出当天送来几盒cup cakes, 我们次得津津有味，不知里头是什么? 听陈老师说是龙眼干，热腾腾刚出炉就帮我们买来，真谢谢她。
演出完了，大家派集体照。 演出成功！

happie...get into my spec
Super happy this morning when cuimin called me while i was about to sleep around 1240am, she spoke with her that "robotic" voice telling me i got into marketing and she got into B&F. And ziqian and meihui also got into B&F too, meaning that everyone got what they want.
HAPPY! Thought with the stringent criteria i will not be able to squeeze in coz my uni result to fantastic....haha.

PC show
Shudup and me met up at Suntec, planning to go to the PC show. Before that we went to have dinner at Sushi tei. Kuku popped by later after her work. We rush to PC about 8.30pm when it actually closes at 9pm. Thanks to kuku's UOB debit card, i bought a IXUS860 after sooling's comment that IXUS860 not as good and kuku bought a sony PINK digicamera.
The highlight of the day is our camera cases. Kuku got a ugly camera case from the SONY after making a fuss at the counter. None of the designs and colours are nice thus she had to choose from the worst. After that we go down to level 1 to collect my CANON free gift, and kuku laughed like mad as my case's colour is much worst than hers...super sad right. I thought hers was the worst, after comparing to mine, i think mine is WORST. How can CANON come out with such colour combination? Even if they give me a full black case i would not mind!!!!
See how bad is the case's colur?After all the laughters, we did not head home as the queues for buses and taxi are super long and the crowds deter us from going home. Eventually, we head towards HK cafe for some tea/coffee and toast. We had long chat about each other family, my dad, shudup's uncles misfortune and kuku intention to quit her job after coming back from her leave.
I tried to take photo with my handphone, but it seems to fail the first, second and the third time...is not my fault...shudup keep NG!

Studio Wu Performance
After long day of practice from 10 to 5pm at Marine Parade CC for taiwan trip concert, i headed to clementi (NUS UCC-threatre) with Sutee to watch Peiwen and Peiru 'Wu studio' concert. This is my first time i watch a dance performance. Thanks to wen, the ticket is expensive, she managed to give us at discounted price.
Ya...NOT BAD! I never fall asleep as the dances and dancers are always energetic and different. Every dance and music is so different, both of us have to get ourselves adapt to the change sreally fast. I love the varieties of dances, props, costumes and they even have kids dancing, to guest dancers.
The entire presentation is creative and audience oriented. Some improvement will be the volume of the sound/music should be controlled carefully as the UCC threatre is not a big place so sometime the music is too loud till the sound quality crack and causes discomfort to audience.
I must praise the last one where all the instructors come together and dance. That we super great as they dance sychronized together and to the beat of the music, plus each showing off their specialty dances. Interesting performance, despite our exhaustion through the day, we "tahan" throughout the performance and headed home to sleep. GREAT JOB!

SYCO concert...
.. SYCO full strength.. 
..SYCO ruan+liuqin..I can only say Maestro Tsung Yeh is really a dammmed dammed good conductor i ever seen! He is my new idol! His conducting strokes are clean and direct and also full with passion especially for the "ga da mei lin". His facial expression is passionate and brings different mood to the musicians and causes the music to flow in the direction of his expression. He is GOOD! You can feel his music from his heart and face. I start to admire him a lot.

exam result out le
Everyone didnt sleep but check the result...after a few try finally got it- B, B-, B+, B, B+. Surpisingly my business law got a B+...and IT got a B....haha maybe faithed for me to 2nd specialised Business Law. Like last semester, i set very low expectation as i know that i didnt give 100% and i still have a lot doubts in the subject so having all Bs i am happy enough. This time round i feel the same...this sound bad as it didnt motivate me to work harder to achieve a better result...I feel that "Result is not everything, is what you learn through the process."

upcoming week
This upcoming week will be occupied by SYCO practices from monday to saturday(which is the concert day)...wa no time for GSS. Hiaz...i pity my fingers. Friday need to go chapter 2 trim my hair for the saturday concert plus need to reschedule all the student time due to sat and sunday super busy! Ms Zhang make it sunday practice for Taiwan trip becomes a full day one...wa. Tiring....hope for a better future. Looking forward to the Taiwan trip as this is the only long holiday i have out of the 3 years NTU course.
