this zhongruan cost $3000. the most expensive thing i ever buy in my life till now. Was it on impulse? i also not sure. Started ruaning at the age of 17 , after graduation from secondary school. Started to love this instrument. Dunnoe why? the love is uncontrollable.
i wanted to knoe more hence i started my private lesson with famous ruan performer and teacher "ms ding xiao yan" and that lasted 2 years plus...i went grading, performances and many concerts. i learn a lot from her.
then later i wanted to know more plectrum's technqiues, so i change to learn from " ms zhang rong hui" who is my current tutor too. both of them are nice but approach music and playing differently. Just trying to adjust to something i feel more comfortable with. Yah with the ruan for a year, i love her sound though it is really expensive. still havent tell my mum yet....haha! shiii!.....interest is something worth your time and effort to discover and sometime you will find unexpected gains.
