No doubt the "小笼包" are good and tasty, but the service staff are a bit annoying. They keep asking the same questions whether we want to make new order, more than 5 times. I felt like they chasing us away. Super irritating at time to have OVER prompt staff for keep interrupting our conversation. (-) point






TCC revamp its menu. the food turn out to be not bad, but still misses the old menu.

Grilled Chicken with linguine
The black sauce can be more as the linguine is quite bland.

Beef sandwich on whitebread
Looks nice and big, but it is rather hard to eat,
neither bite size nor easy to cut.

Ob went to suntec to help me choose spectacles, went to few but not much caught my eye except 1 japanese brand one which cost $500+ for a frame...super ex. then decide to go parkway to search. yah meiqi suggestion, after reading xia xue's blog- ob went indulgz to give it a try. ( ob- a group with high expectation for food and service) You better be GOOD!
i ate the double choc brownies, is ok but a bit too...chocolate. but the pasta was not bad. they nv serve plain water (-) but their beverage like shake was well-prepared. (+) After mentioning that i want to buy raffles the plaza mooncake, everyone starts to have the crave! They demanded me to go bugis to buy, i refused!. Clever move indeed, bugis nv sell raffles the plaza's mooncake.

After the indulgz food, we went over to Parco. On impulse, we decided to watch the Sci-fi movie, the invasion by nicole kidman. Since harry potter, ob long time never watch movie together. but poor kuku was coughing all the way in the cinema. Bugis shaw cinema give me a a very rundown outlook plus they have junk furniture thrown on the path way where customers walk to the cinema. Very bad- plus still in the lunar 7th month. haha. scary. dirty and low seat- one of the worst cinema i ever went into.

buy all new text that cost around 200 dollars, first month in uni spend a lot of money man. Hiaz. no choice, the lecturer never teach but want us to go back read and understand. So scary. so much things to read.

need to concentrate on study liao as a lot of backlog tutorials need to clear before i can move on. After the term break the worst is coming....especially for stats and econ. Regretted never exempted from it. ECON n STATS is super difficult! Help!!!

Friday 07/09/07, a exciting and long waited day for me. I went back to Seletar Camp in the morning to do clearance then get my IC. but shit...something in the clearance form cock up so i cant take my IC. Quite sad as i long waited for this day but still ok. i know I ORD le... That night, i went out with FULL OB to giraffe to have a catch up, dine and drink. It has been a long time since i see the whole group together (everyone is very busy). Thanks everyone for coming to share my joy of freedom.


Service= OK
FOOD= super negative value, lousy especially the Nachos is not crispy at all. The calamari we ordered also not up to standard. KAo the menu only 2 pages and they can produce such lousy standard despite having such a small menu. Giraffe= not good for dinning.

BMT buddies



We went vivo sakae to eat then went to CAfe del mar to drink..but they dun like the atmosphere so we took a mercendes cab to Holland Village's Eski bar to drink. We ordered and finished a bottle of Martel with mixer of course. Smooth texture and nicer than other hard liqour i drank before. We went into the super cold part where temperature is 4 degree, but after a while when we cant take it anymore we ran out to the normal area. We played "dai di" and those who loses have to drink...and i kena a few time until i almost drunk( they kept adding Martel while i am in toilet). BMT buddies are fun and really enjoyed each other company a lot. Time flies like rocket and 2 years of NS leave with me a bunch of GOOD buddies. Good luck to their job hunting.

After we left Eski bar(finishing the Martel), we supposed to leave but our dearest Guoqiang said that he is coming to meet us, so we waited for him. Last saw him was a jeksiong 21st birthday a year ago- super long lor. So everyone is excited to see him, we waited for him. Guess what i placed my camera on the rubbish bin to take this photo. SYCO last performance @esplanade




Me and DR Ku bao Wen, our SYCO conductor for 2007. A very skilled and disciplined conductor, learnt conducting from him in SYCO workshop. He is good but sometime too stern. Scolded by him many times but still feel is good in pushing for professional standards. Being a musician, it all starts from discipline and attitude. Should learn more that from him.


A photo with Dedric...why cause his hair will be soon gone due to BMT this coming sat. HAha. A part of Guys' life. it will be fun and exciting. But wouldnt want to go through again.

Finally, tomo i getting back my pink IC. awaited that moment for 2 years and it has been a long one since i stepped into tekong. BMT was fun and full of good buddies and lifelong friends. As i typed, tears are gushing. Time flies and really fast. 2 years passed with Ups and Downs. BMT- mental and physical tolerances and dirty outfield and first time i leave my home for such a long time. meeting buddy jek siong, friends like aaron, shawn, jingsheng, paul and guoqiang really fun during outfield and various activities.

Learning to adapt, learning to cope with stress and projects deadlines are much worst than in poly time. things are different- more independent. more own your own. No body really care u do your work. that is quite scary. er on the other hand, brain can learn to explore deeper and further as there are no guidance so u are free to learn or not to learn. Slowly accepting the change, although it is not a easy task. Relying a lot on my poly notes, luckily i never throw away them. Haha, good chance to rebut my mum for keeping so much notes.
