A movie that brings memories and truth in life. Getai had left my life many years ago when there is no more getai around my place. In the past, i felt irritated by the old fashion music and the "han biao" going on, it causes a lot of noise, and especially when u are studying for exams, the noise is unbearable. However, many years down the road, i kind of miss that "noise". The noise that only can hear it on the lunar 7th month. AS people are being more globalised, high-tech and we are slowly abandoning our basic culture that we grow up with. I am one of them. Sad to say that i was not a big fan of Getai but will still catch them when i was young. And buying those street side food like Muaichee is really fun. The hokkien songs in the movie are very touching, and brought back many and many memories, when me and my bro will squeeze to the front of the stage to get a glimpse of the performers... Looking back is not always a bad things, but we need to bring them to the future for more younger generation to see.

TThankss again. hope you all enjoy the music. finally complete that as it was very stress and a lot of effort are put into the concert from music, selling tickets, publicizing etc. yah finally finish, feel so much relieve. now again to move concentration to NTU projects and study, at least cannot fail the exam n project ba. though feel like study for the sake of study, but trying to make the best out of it.

weighing passion and reality, which one more important to me. still dont know. but hope can find my answer soon.

SYCO members given a chance to learn from Mr Ku conducting in the conducting workshop held at SCH, sat and sunday. Learn alot of stuff from him including things that i used to believe is correct but wrong. He is GOOD in teaching things at the basic level and guide you with super high expectation. luckily i bought my conducting baton thus dont need to spend money to buy a new one.

He gave us a website for custom made good baton cost around 50US.

A very different national day i should say this year. WHY? Coz i finished my NS and going into another phase of my education life-NTU( degree in business). Brain kind of rusty as 2 years NS, i had not been reading much and using brain for any projects and exams. haha. er is time to refresh what i had learn in TP and used them well in NTU. Much yr1 subjects i had taken before in poly so it gives a an edge over others. but there are much more new things for me to learn and catch especially dealing with a more diversified-background classmates or schoolmates. From Jc, taiwan, china, all from different background working together and create sparks. Hope i am not in the leadership role as i quite tired of it, the fun of it is i can control the situation at my advantage!!!

Just do my part and sail thru smoothly for the 3 years!

A new beginning of NBS...after tallks by Prof...i head on to know my classmates better and hope will be more smooth sailing with their help. though most subject i study before in my poly life but i think the subjects bound to have some differences. So must try not to trapped myself in the past and move on. meeting alot pple like a NASSCO junior-pipa player(meihui), saw jiuntong(also NASSCO -cellist), thiansian from engineering...alot of people, names to remember. but they are all nice people especially the student leaders kendra and wen yee, they share many important information and their personal experience with us. tell us their mistakes and hope we wouldnt commit again. ya tomorrow will be stress as many people will squeeze into the system to take their electives etc...system sure jam up....sianz

after the QET and freshmen orientation, tomorrow will be the start of school(NTU)...a lot of mix feelings because i am worried i cant mix around with new friends and the stress that is coming up. But glad that i can start something new and move on from ARMY. Notes to print, books to buy and ruan xian concerts coming up...really stress to have multiple roles in life...confusing and hard to manage.

hope it will be over soon. realli anticipate what willl happen in the future?
