Ruanster met up at Marina Square and we had our dinner at HongKong Cafe while waiting for others to arrive. Yiling and Minru were having great time taking a lot of photos while other enjoy their food. After that, while walking to esplanade, we bumped into meiqi and his boyfriend...and everyone starts gossiping about it.

After the concert, we let the musicians and singers autograph on the concert booklet and to our surprise we saw Mr Lin Ji Liang and Mr Ning Yong. So we grabbed opportunity to take photo with these 2 mastesro in ruan.
After all the autograph session, finally we were able to take photo with Ms ding ( my previous ruan teacher)-in her ususal shinny blue dress. She had not solo since 12years when she performed with city orchestra.

I personally do not like this oriental symphony because the sound quality and strength is not as strong as the symphony orchestra ( erhu and gaohu is unmatched to violin and viola). And this arrangement lost the special tone colour of dizi, suona and traditional percussion. So i do not like this "so-called revolution of chinese orchestra". It turns out to be something not here nor there- quite sad.
