After much leaves, branches, roots and stones we fnally get to the super "ulu" THE WHITE RABBIT restaurant at 39C Harding Road. We took a 1 hour plus bus and walk through a desserted path way and managed to find the place. OMG. Without car, to go there is really very very very inconvenient. The church refurnished restaurant has a nice white ambience but kuku disagree with it. She thinks is not peaceful and serene enough to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee. The walls are dirtied and not painted. I guess the owner wants some "leftover" of the previous church to show some history and vintage element in the decor. With high roof lighting and the natural light from the HOT sun outside, it makes the whole place very very good to take photo.

The interior set up of the tables and plants. Didnt get the service staff and we drank $10 still water. Should have ask for Tap water instead. We ordered set lunch costing $30 ++each and a dessert.
This is spinach salad Kuku ordered. As a appetizer, the portion is TOO BIG, again TOO BIG. It looks like a MAIN COURSE to me- covering the white spaces of the entire plate. Cannot believe it. Such good restaurant cannot handle portioning and what is the problem. Although we both agreed that we like the dressing very much but we can only finish half of the portion. WAW!
Mine wasnt spared. It was nice-smoked salmon (salty), green apple (sour), walnuts (roasted) and a unknown thread of vege or fruit like. the combination taste good but again the portion too big till you sick of the dish. Sad case!
Conclusion, please eat the raisn bun. It tastes fantastic. And Kuku asked me to wrote here that the restaurant is "underwhelmed". It failed my expectation of a good restaurant. Bill was $98.80.
