Departing Singapore Budget terminal. This is my first time here. The first photo i took in the entire trip.

We arrived in KL after a hour flight and we have to stayover in KL budget terminal (still under construction) so that we do not miss our morning flights from KL to Laos (Vietiane). We had to sleep in the foyer as the 24 hours McDonald crews decided to do some cleaning and chase us out in the middle of the night.

Finally, the sun rose and there we are boarding the budget plane to Vietiane (capital of Laos).
First day in Vietiane, after strolling around we managed to find one tourist momument where we can visit. We paid and climb our way up. It is not properly maintain as the ladder up seems like it will demental after a few tourists climb on it. Despite the above, the view was not bad. Photo below is a view from the buddha window grill.

Golden Stupa in Vietiane

We headed to the reservoir the next day after discovering that there is nothing to do in Vietiane. After hiring "tu tu", we arrived at the pier. The price to cross over to the island is too expensive, hence shayne and I had to bargain and bargain for a cheaper rate ( we read from the book), and what worsened the situation is only one middled aged waiter understands and speaks a bit of English. In the end, we managed to get over at a cheap price in the wooden boat below. Price reflects quality. The boat we taking is shown below.

A BOMB. Yah we saw it by the coastal of the island and we decided to take some photos as this is my first encounter with such a big bomb.

The haunted house we lived in. No electricity, hence we have to survived on 4 candles to light up the room. And there is only 4 people staying there-another british couple staying. Nothing to do on the island except rowing a boat around the island for sightseeing but the british couple had taken it leaving us nothing to do. Roaming around the haunted bunglow, we took naps and poker game in the night.
The next day, we travel by "tu tu" after "tu tu" and we managed to Arrive at Vang Viang ( happy town). The scenaries were unbelievably beautiful. These are some of the nicer photos.

First night in Vang Viang
WE spent our first night in a restaurant watching MI1 while other "falang" -europeans were watching Friends and Simpsons. It is really nice to lazzzzz around the cozy place, watch movies and have some food. I love it. so relaxed and peaceful.

2nd Day in VangViang (cycling day)
It was a day of CYCLING and A FULL day of Cycling. We went cycling with german father and son we met on the trip to vang viang. They are cool and we clinged on them to tour around the caves and cycle around the path. The path wasnt even with rocks and stones everywhere. It is not easy to cycle and the butt hurts like hell.

3rd Day in Vang Viang (cave tubing and kayaking)

The cave we went into for tubing. THe water is too cold for shayne and me that we shivered all the way in the cave tubing.
